Advisory Board of Directors - Common Cause

  • Colorado Common Cause fights for a better democracy. Since 1971, we have worked to break down barriers to voting, ensure that every vote is counted as cast, reduce the impact of special interest money in the political process, and promote open government and high ethical standards in government. We have a proud legacy of decades of reform, as well as a deep history of protecting voters and safeguarding the democratic process across our state.

We are eagerly looking for applicants to our Advisory Board of Directors, with a desired orientation date of March 6th, 2024 or March 7th, 2024 for the incoming cohort. Applicants from all backgrounds, ages and experiences are warmly invited to apply.

Colorado Common Cause's Advisory Board of Directors holds required meetings at least once per month, and works to support the organization to effectively fulfill our mission, including:

Providing strategic input and programmatic support to carry out the goals and priorities of the organization.

Actively participating in fundraising to sustain the organization's work, including engaging in personal giving according to board members' own means.

Acting as ambassadors for the organization.
