Senior Campaign Manager - Siegel Long Public Affairs

  • Since 2008, Siegel Long Public Affairs has provided effective lobbying, advocacy, and organizing services to nonprofits, labor unions, coalitions, ballot measures, and legal advocates across Colorado. Our services include coalition building, campaign management, campaign planning, and grassroots organizing. Our firm has a proven track record of taking on big issues, building campaigns from the ground up, and winning on a wide range of issues including defending worker’s rights, protecting access to abortion, strengthening consumer protections, promoting conservation efforts, and protecting the right to vote. We are looking for a full time Senior Campaign Manager to work directly with clients, coalitions, and campaigns across the state to support progressive policy, organizing, and movement building.

  • Campaign Development and Management: Support and lead the development and execution of existing and new campaigns that the firm is engaged in. Work with the Director of Campaigns to design, plan, and manage strategic electoral, legislative, and issue campaigns.

    Coalition Management: Grow, support, and manage coalitions across issues and campaigns, ranging from minimum wage, climate, and abortion rights. Regularly facilitate, collaborate, and communicate with coalition members. Maintain strong relationships and coordinate directly with partner organizations, campaigns, advocacy groups, and community leaders.

    Organizing and Mobilization: Organize and build support for campaigns by implementing effective advocacy strategies and tactics to engage community members and target decision members. This includes - coordinating directly with external vendors, recruitment and turnout, grassroots communications, event planning, and other grassroots/grasstops activities

  • Must Haves

    ★ At least 3-5 years of campaign, organizing, or advocacy experience

    ★ Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism and economic justice

    ★ Effective written and verbal communication skills

    ★ Ability to adapt to an evolving political and campaign climate

    ★Excellent attention to detail

    ★ Leadership to take initiative and work well independently

    ★ Experience and comfort engaging individuals and organizations through public speaking and outreach

    Nice to Haves

    ★ Experience planning and executing electoral campaigns and issue advocacy campaigns including those in the legislative arena

    ★ Prior knowledge of Colorado’s political landscape

  • This is a full-time position with a target start date of January 2024. This position is based out of Siegel Long Public Affairs Denver office. This is a hybrid role that requires in-person work, this position will also include some occasional travel in-state and some nights and weekends.

    The salary is $65,000-80,000 depending on experience. Benefits include employer paid health and dental insurance, laptop and cell phone provided, employer match 401k, paid holidays and personal observance days, paid vacation, paid sick days and paid family leave.
