Centennial State Prosperity: Organizing Manager

  • CSP is a state-based 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization focused on finding solutions that ensure hardworking Coloradans can earn a good life, provide for their families, and participate in our democracy. In recent legislative sessions, CSP has helped pass The Health Families and Workplaces Act to provide paid sick days for all Coloradans, the Colorado Option, the Prescription Drug Affordability Board, putting limits on hospital facility fees, a health care savings bill, and key tax reform bills to keep money in the pockets of families among others.

  • Centennial State Prosperity seeks an Organizing Manager to lead our organizing efforts to pass economic security legislation in Colorado.

    The Organizing Manager will serve as the primary organizing professional for CSP and will report to the Executive Director. This is a mid-level role in a small organization and will be responsible for recruiting, engaging, and training CSP members to get involved and take action. They will execute grassroots organizing tactics on 2-4 issue campaigns per year.

  • ★ Demonstrated commitment to Centennial State Prosperity’s values and mission.

    ★ Minimum of 2 years of experience with issue, political, legislative or other advocacy organizing.

    ★ Experience specific to Colorado is a plus.

    ★ Collaborative, team player able to communicate well.

    ★ Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and be calm under pressure.

    ★ Community and equity minded.

    ★ Knowledge of EveryAction, VAN, and/or other CRMs.

  • ★ This is a full-time position based in Denver, Colorado with an office near the State Capitol and a flexible hybrid schedule. Occasional work hours on weekends and travel along Colorado’s front range may be required.

    Salary is $57,000-$62,000 including a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance stipend, monthly cell phone stipend, SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer match, and generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and family leave.
