Upstream: Call Time & Event Support

  • Upstream’s campaign launch program is committed to electing local candidates at the County, Municipal, and state levels. Upstream also supports nonprofits and community organizations.

    We utilize a team approach to support multiple campaigns and organizations and add capacity to campaigns of all sizes.

    The call time and event support position focuses on interacting with candidates during call time and at events.

    Upstream is committed to training, and this hourly position is a great position for someone looking to pick up a side hustle to their other commitments and learn the basics of fundraising. At Upstream, we stick to strict deadlines, this position allows for flexibility in your schedule, but we ask that you are accountable for the hours you commit to working with us.

  • ★ Support Upstream Campaign Director and Upstream Operations

    ★ “Staff” fundraising call time and fundraising events with candidates

    ★ Operations support and administrative support

  • ★ Access to Computer and Wi-Fi

    ★ Basic understanding of Google Calendar and Google Docs

    ★ Upstream works under deadlines, We ask that you take them seriously

    ★ No previous campaign or political experience is required, but training will be offered

    (These are requirements for all positions at Upstream)

  • This position is a contract position starting at $25/hour.
