Denver Families Action: Campaign Manager

Whether you have experience in grassroots organizing, education policy, digital communications, fundraising, or strategic planning, we invite you to submit your resume and join our pool of qualified candidates. The role of campaign manager will require strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign strategy that includes messaging, outreach, and fundraising plans.

    ★ Manage the candidate’s time by scheduling times for critical activities such as canvassing, fundraising calls, endorsement interviews, community events, etc., ensuring the candidate is on schedule, on task, and prepared.

    ★ Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to help with canvassing, phone banking, and other campaign activities.

    ★ Coordinate and plan events, including fundraisers, meet and greets, rallies, and debates.

    ★ Create campaign materials, including mailers, flyers, yard signs, and social media content.

    ★ Manage the campaign budget and ensure all expenses are accounted for and within budget.

    ★ Work closely with the candidate to provide regular updates on the campaign's progress and adjust the strategy as needed.

    ★ Build relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, activists, and local media.

    ★ Ensure that the campaign complies with all election laws and regulations.

  • ★ Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, or a related field.

    ★ At least 2 years of experience in political campaigns, with a readiness to manage.

    ★ Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    ★ Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

    ★ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    ★ Familiarity with political campaign software, such as NGP VAN or NationBuilder.

    ★ Knowledge of local politics and community issues in Denver.

    ★ Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

    ★ A passion for education and improving students' lives in the Denver community.

  • $4,500-$7,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
